Function
1.Inhibit tyrosinase
Human tyrosinase is an essential enzyme that regularly produces melanin, which changes the skin or eyes from brown to black. It is known that skin exposure to ultraviolet light causes some reactions (such as inflammation), and this histological change is manifested by erythema and pigmentation due to the destruction of the phospholipid membrane of the skin tissue by the production of reactive oxygen species induced by ultraviolet light. Reactive oxygen species is a substance that causes skin pigmentation, so inhibiting its production can inhibit the production of melanin. Glabridin is the most expensive and effective whitening ingredient of all.
2.Anti-inflammatory effect
The anti-inflammatory activity of glabridin was verified by experiments. The pigmentation of guinea pigs was induced by UV irradiation, and then applied with 0.5% glabridin solution. It was found that glabridin reduced the skin inflammation caused by UV stimulation. a value is used to indicate red spots on the skin. The extent to which inflammation is reduced can be calculated by recording the A-value (colorimeter reading) of glabridine before, after, and after irradiation. The researchers studied the activity of cyclooxygenidine to inhibit cyclooxygenase and verified that cyclooxygenidine could inhibit cyclooxygenase. Dosage
