Function
Areca Catechu have following effects :
1. Anti-bacterial, fungal and viral effects: the tannins contained in areca nut can inhibit Trichophyton violaceus, Trichophyton Schellanii, Microsporon Auduangi and anti-influenza virus PR3 to varying degrees.
2. Anti-aging effect: the phenolic substances in areca nut can be used as anti-aging substances, with anti-elastase and anti-hyaluronidase effects. Areca extract can significantly inhibit the aging of skin tissue and the inflammatory reaction of skin.

4. 6. Anti-cancer and carcinogenic effects: In vitro screening tests showed that areca nut had an inhibitory effect on tumor cells, and the results of anti-phage screening suggested that it had an anti-phage effect.
7.
