Product Description

Lincomycin HCl is an antibiotic that belongs to the lincosamide class of antibiotics and is primarily used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria. It exerts its antibacterial effect by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis.

Main Mechanics
Inhibit bacterial protein synthesis:
Lincomycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit of bacteria, preventing the elongation of the peptide chain, and ultimately inhibiting bacterial growth and reproduction.

Indications
Lincomycin HCl is primarily used to treat the following infections:
Skin and soft tissue infections: Indicated for skin and soft tissue infections caused by sensitive bacteria.
Respiratory tract infection: Can be used to treat upper and lower respiratory tract infections caused by certain bacteria.
Bone and joint infections: In certain cases, Lincomycin can also be used to treat osteomyelitis and joint infections.
Anaerobic infection: Lincomycin also has good efficacy in treating certain anaerobic infections.
