D-mannitol Manufacturer Newgreen D-mannitol Supplement
Product Description
Mannitol powder, D-Mannitol is a chemical substance with the molecular formula C6H14O6. Colorless to white needle-like or orthorhombic columnar crystals or crystalline powder. Odorless, with a cool sweetness. The sweetness is about 57% to 72% of sucrose. Produces 8.37J calories per gram, which is about half of glucose. Contains a small amount of sorbitol. The relative density is 1.49. Optical rotation [α] D20º-0.40º (10% aqueous solution). Hygroscopicity is minimal. Aqueous solutions are stable. Stable to dilute acid and dilute alkali. Not oxidized by oxygen in the air. Soluble in water (5.6g/100ml, 20ºC) and glycerol (5.5g/100ml). Slightly soluble in ethanol (1.2g/100ml). Soluble in hot ethanol. Almost insoluble in most other common organic solvents. The pH of a 20% aqueous solution is 5.5 to 6.5.

Funtion
Mannitol Powder D-Mannitol is a good diuretic in medicine, reducing intracranial pressure, intraocular pressure and treating kidney medicine, dehydrating agent, sugar substitute, and also used as an excipient for tablets and a solid and liquid diluent.
D-Mannitol sweetener (low calorie, low sweetness); nutritional supplement; quality improver; anti-sticking agent such as cakes and gums; heat preservation agent.
Application
In the industry, mannitol powder can be used in the plastics industry to produce rosin esters and artificial glycerin resins,
explosives, detonators (nitrified mannitol) and the like. It is used for the determination of boron in chemical analysis, as a
bacterial culture agent for biological tests, and the like.
In terms of food, the Mannitol Powder has the least water absorption in sugars and sugar alcohols, and has a refreshing sweet taste,
which is used for the anti-sticking of foods such as maltose, chewing gum, and rice cake, and as a release powder for general
cakes. It can also be used as a low-calorie, low-sugar sweetener such as food for diabetes patients and bodybuilding foods.
